WhatsApp Voice Status on iPhone - What it is and how it works
WhatsApp Voice Status is a new feature for iPhone users of the most used messaging app in the world.
After in February, the company META (which owns WhatsApp), launched PiP (Picture-in-Picture) for video calls, almost a month later, it is launching this new feature for iOS.
What is and how do you use WhatsApp Voice Status?
The new Voice Status feature of WhatsApp offers users the opportunity to record voice notes to publish on WhatsApp status.
This feature is available for iPhone users with the latest version of iOS and WhatsApp 23.5.75 or 23.5.77. The launch is done gradually, and will be available approximately one month after the company tested the ability to transcribe the voice to the WhatsApp status.
How do you share voice status on WhatsApp?
Open the WhatsApp application on iPhone, go to Status at the bottom, press the "pencil" sign, then microphone in the editing field.
Press and hold the microphone to record the message you are about to post to your WhatsApp status.
In addition to Picture in Picture and this new feature, users expect new options such as: the possibility of editing sent messages (just like on iMessages) and new functions for managing groups and communities.
