UTOK Dorel and Explorer: two smartphones resistant in the harshest conditions
BRAIN Dorel and Explorer there are two models of smartphonewith IP67 certification, resistant to mechanical shocks, water and dust, intended for those who work in demanding environmental conditions such as construction, but also for those who spend a lot of time in nature.
Having a rather suggestive name, BRAIN Dorel brings a perfectly sealed case, made of hard plastic and equipped with oversized buttons that can be operated even with gloves. Protected by a mineral glass shield and framed in a wide frame, the display with a diagonal of 3.5" uses a resolution of 320×480 pixels. Unfortunately, UTOK Dorel only has 512 MB of RAM memory and a chipset Media Tek6527 (dual-core CPU at 1.2 GHz), which does not give it speed, especially since it also supports the version Android 4.4. The battery with a capacity of 2000 mAh offers, however, the prospect of an above-average autonomy. Also, the list of technical specifications is completed by 4GB expandable internal memory, WiFi connectivity, GPS, Bluetooth and a 2MP camera with blitz LED.
BRAIN Explorer it has the same design and the same configuration as UTOK Dorel, but it differs in the color theme applied to the case and the Android interface. The two devices allow submersion under water for approximately 30 minutes, they have a 5-year extended warranty through the application UTO NO, free access to movies and matches for one month, free access to music through the application for one month RETURN, 100 pre-installed books, accessible through the application Elephant eBooks Reader, and the social application Getlocal.
UTOK Dorel and Explorer phones will be available in stores starting on February 2, 2015 at the advantageous price of 599 lei.
