ASUS has launched the Zenbook UX305 Ultrabook

The company ASUS presented Zenbook UX305, within IFA Berlin 2014, but the promised release for Christmas did not take place. Here, after five months, the interesting Ultrabook from ASUS was officially announced, and users looking for a "soft and slim" laptop have a new option that supports the solution Intel Core-M.

With a thickness of only 12.3 millimeters and a weight of 1200 grams, the Zenbook UX305 is one of the thinnest and lightest laptops currently available on the specialty market. The case is made of aluminum alloy and already uses the traditional feather profile design that we know from previous models Zenbook.

thumb-ux305-edition-01The hardware platform of the ultrabook is based on Intel's low-power Intel Core M processor, with users having options at their fingertips M-5Y10 (with a nominal frequency of 800 MHz and a maximum of 2 Ghz) or M-5Y71 (with a nominal frequency of 1.2 GHz and a maximum of 2.8 GHz). The processor is accompanied by 4 or 8 GB of RAM, o SSD storage unit with capacities of 128, 256 or 512 GB and a battery with a capacity of 45 Wh, which promises an autonomy of 10 hours.

The display has a diagonal of 13.3" and users can choose either an IPS panel with Full HD resolution, either an IPS with a resolution of 3200 x 1800 pixels. In addition to all these features, the list of technical specifications also includes a Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac interface, Bluetooth 4.0, three USB 3.0 ports, un webcam HD, a video output Micro HDMI and and card reader SD.
