Nu putini sunt cei care si-au procurat telefoane mobile cu sisteme de operare Windows Mobile 6.1 sau WM 6.5, si doresc sa foloseasca Yahoo! Messenger, Google Talk sau Windows Live Messenger (MSN) de pe telefonul mobil.
Aplicatiile de IM pentru telefoanele cu Windows Mobile nu sunt foarte multe, comparativ cu cele pentru Java si Symbian, dar cele care sunt, sunt foarte ok si ne permit sa conversam fara restrictii cu prietenii de pe Messenger.
Nimbuzz pentru Windows Mobile, este o aplicatie de Instant Messaging care ne permite sa ne conectam simultan pe mai multe retele de IM si de social networking (Facebook) de pe telefonul mobil.
Dupa cum puteti observa in imaginea de mai sus (facuta pe un HTC Diamond), Nimbuzz ne oferta o interfata grafica foarte simpla, din care putem sa ne alegem retelele pe care sa ne conectam ( Windows Live Messenger, Skype, Yahoo! Messenger, Facebook, Google Talk, AIM/MobileMe, MySpace, etc). Administrarea conturilor de IM ne permite sa ne schimbam user-ul si parola ori de cate ori dorim, statusul, sa adaugam, sa stergem sau sa redenumim contactele din lista de prieteni.

Pentru a instala Nimbuzz pe telefonul mobil va trebui sa sa aveti un abonament de date (Internet Mobile) sau o retea WI-FI prin apropiere si sa accesati get.nimbuzz.com din browser-ul telefonului mobil.
Trebuie sa stiti ca dupa descarcare va trebui sa va inregistrati cu un user si o parola pe nimbuzz.com. Acesta este lucru bun, pentru ca profilul dvs. va fi salvat (conturile de IM adaugate in Nimbuzz, statusuri, etc) si in cazul in care va schimbati telefonul, nu mai trebuie decat sa instalati Nimbuzz si sa va conectati cu user-ul dvs. Toate setarile vor fi importate.
